Native Americans revere their Elders.
(Or at least they used to! Do they still?)
Why? Because of the Life Experience
that people gain throughout the years.
What does our society, and that of the civilized world in general, do these days? Treat their peers, as they age, like social outcasts!
Please read my friend Sylvie’s Blog “My Husband vs Aging”. She has expressed exactly how I feel! And what I have experienced myself.
We’re not *old* people!!! We are the same people we were when we were Teens, or in our early 20’s, or 30’s. So why do people in those age groups think they have the right to look down on us?
Because our bodies are no longer, cooperating with us the way that, we wish they would?
Because things are graying and sagging?
Drat, I’d be glad to pick things up and put them back where they belong, if I could.
Unfortunately, a little thing like “gravity” will do that to *everyone* if they’re around long enough!
Heeh, heeh, heeh… time will get *YOU* too,
whoever you are, under or still near 30!
(big evil grin here)
Our minds are still willing and able.
We have lived through more experiences and learned from them!
(erhemm … hopefully, that is )
And *we* learned how to SPELL! Nya, nya …..

Inside every older person is a younger person,
wondering what the "expletive" happened.
